    Why PixelConvert?

    Private by design

Files are never uploaded to a server. Everything is converted inside your browser - photos, documents or screenshots, all safe.

    Fast, really fast

Zero upload and zero queue. Even a 12 MP photo converts in a moment, because the work happens on your device.

    Batch + ZIP

Up to 60 files at once. Convert everything with one click and download the whole list as a ZIP. HEIC photos from iPhone too.

    Installs like an app

Click "Install app" - you get an icon on PC, Android or iPhone, it opens fullscreen and keeps working offline.

    Supported formats

    Frequently asked questions

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. The whole conversion runs inside your browser (JavaScript + WebAssembly). Once the page has loaded it even keeps working without internet, which is what makes this tool private and fast.

How do I convert HEIC to JPG?

Drop your HEIC photos, choose JPG under "Convert to", set the quality and click Convert. Every file gets its own download button, or use "Download all (ZIP)" to get everything at once.

How do I install this as an app on PC or phone?

On Chrome or Edge (PC/Android) click the Install app button in the header. On iPhone/iPad open the site in Safari and use Share → Add to Home Screen. Once installed it also works offline.

How many files and what size is supported?

Up to 60 files at a time, and up to 40 MB per file. Very large images (above 80 megapixels) are skipped so the browser does not freeze.

    What quality should I use?

For photos, 85-92 is the best balance. At 100 the file gets bigger, at 70 it gets smaller. PNG, BMP, TIFF and ICO are lossless, so the quality slider does not affect them.

Is EXIF data (date, GPS) kept?

For raster output the browser does not copy EXIF metadata, so the date/GPS information is not included. That is good for privacy - keep the original file if you need that data.
